Tikae Mabelane

As the child of a pastor, Tikae vowed to never go into full-time ministry. But…God is sovereign. Although he grew up as a pastor’s kid, Tikae went on to attain an MBA, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, and a Bachelor of Music. After working as a Senior Manager at Africa’s largest bank, Pastor Adam gave Tikae a call and asked him, along with his wife (Tlholo) and three children, to move to Boston and go into full-time ministry. After years of saying he would never do that, he said yes.
Tikae and his family moved to the US and began attending and working at Aletheia in 2021. He is thankful to have the opportunity to combine two of his passions and talents—music and technology to directly impact the body of Christ on a weekly basis.
When he’s not on stage leading the church in worship or behind the scenes making all the tech work, Tikae loves watching movies, attending music concerts, and mixed martial arts. Tikae was actually a contestant on Idols, South Africa and taught himself how to play the piano at age seven!
